Tegan Grace

Tegan Grace is bringing a little sparkle to the local airwaves next year with a brand-new show on MainFM. It’s called Pop Tart and it does exactly what it says on the tin: celebrates all things pop music.

Growing up in the Adelaide Hills in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, Tegan was surrounded by alt-rock and grunge. She enjoyed some of it out at the pubs — but the real story happened at home where she’d set her cassette tape to record pop songs and joyously listen back.

These days, she’s done hiding. As an adult, Tegan fully embraces pop music and wants the rest of us to do the same.

“We all need just a bit of lightness, don’t we?” says Tegan.

Pop Tart is a joyful mix of fun, fresh pop tracks delivered in themed shows where Tegan’s self-proclaimed nerdy, hyperfocus comes to the fore.

“I’ll sprinkle in some fun facts that I’ve collected along the way.”

Expect colour, curiosity and unapologetic pop pleasure, coming soon to MainFM.

❀ JanuHairy: Let it grow this summer ❀

Local mums are challenging beauty norms by celebrating natural body hair and raising awareness with JanuHairy.

They are inviting women, non-binary folk and AFAB’s to grow their body hair for the month of January.

As well as growing your body hair, you can join their Facebook group and take up the JanuHairy challenge, which helps raise money for women’s health research. All donations are going to Jean Hailes, an organisation dedicated to improving the health of Australian women.
